DATES: 27th October

LOCATION: The Candlelight Club, A Secret Location, London

In a secret location hidden in London lies the Candlelight Club a fabulous pop-up prohibition speak easy venue, that celebrates all things 1920s and Jazz.

Time Out said “The Candlelight Club is the closet thing you’ll find to an authentic Jazz Age exxperience”. This October it opens it’s mystery doors once again to host a spooktacular Halloween Ball with a stunning line up of entertainment that includes music from Champagne Charlie and the bubbly boys and the toe tapping Gatsby Girls, plus the exotic burlesque act Ruby Deshabille and head spinning hoops from Polly Hoops. The ‘Jazz people’ loved to dress up and were all about being shocking and rebellious so a Halloween ball fits the bill perfectly.

The height of fashion was to dress to impress with the freedom to move, so the flapper dress was created to give it’s wearer maximum impact with a minimum length to really show off those charleston legs and create a storm on the dancefloor. To really stand out in the crowd the dresses were encrusted with light reflecting beads and sequins that danced around the body; that with a teasing tassel hemline made for the perfect outfit. Twin up with long beaded necklaces and feathered hair pieces for that real flapper look.

DRESS CODE: A thoroughly modern monster mash
