Visionary indi PRETTY ECCENTRIC launched in 2009 with it's first store in Brighton's quirky lanes. At it's helm founder and Creative Director Michelle Scott who has been a instrumental force behind some of the high streets leading fashion and beauty brands.

Michelle was born Surrey and she was educated at an all girls school where she began customising her clothes and having fanciful flights of imagination.

Her father owned a boutique in Clapham and during the 80's she honed her eye for the next big trend until in the late 1980's she moved to Nottinghill and joined the Burton Group (Top Shop and Principles) where she spent 7 years working her way up through the ranks of buying, merchandising teams.

In 1992 she joined Whistles where she was Head of Buying there were a few other adventures along the way, working at at Harvey Nichols, Oasis and House of Fraser. In 2003 she moved to the beauty industry and joined the Body Shop where she spent time as USA Marketing Director and UK Product Director.

In 2009 she launched Pretty Eccentric a quirky vintage fashion brand and opened her first store in Brighton’s Lanes district. Her designs and carefully chosen collections were such a success she opened her second store in Bath a year later.

PRETTY ECCENTRIC loves individuality, fun and romanticism and this is reflected in the treasures that bring a unique feel to the jewel like brand.
